Carrie pearson

Finance
The Pearson family has been a cherished part of First Baptist Church Brady for generations. Mrs. Pearson’s husband, “Big Al” Pearson, grew up at FBC Brady, where his father served as a deacon. In 1986, Al, Albert Ira, Amy, and Mrs. Pearson had the opportunity to move to Al’s hometown of Brady, Texas. She has been attending First Baptist Church ever since.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Pearson attended Southwest Texas State University before graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with degrees in Elementary Education and a minor in Art.
Mrs. Pearson spent many years teaching, beginning with first grade before having the opportunity to teach art to all the students at Brady Elementary. After retiring from education, she joined Al and Albert Ira at City Drug, where she served as secretary, treasurer, and co-owner.
Her love for First Baptist Church has been evident through her many years of service. She has served as VBS director, VBS and Awana teacher, and as a member of the Hostess and Floral teams. She currently serves on the Hostess and Finance committees at FBC Brady.
Outside of church and work, Mrs. Pearson enjoys painting, quilting, traveling, cooking, visiting and hosting family and friends, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, and supporting the San Antonio Spurs. She is also a member of the Brady Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, where she currently serves as Historian.
One of the greatest joys for Mrs. Pearson is knowing that four generations of Pearsons call First Baptist Church home and family.
